Susanne checks the temperature at 11:00 a.m. She notices if the temperature rises by 8 more degrees, it will break the record-high temperature for that date, which is 82 degrees. If t = the temperature in degrees at 11:00 a.m., which mathematical sentence expresses the information above?

For the record to break, new temp. should be greater than 82 degrees. So, t + 8 > 82 t > 82 - 8 t > 74
